Australian Animals Alphabet

S is for Seahorse

S is the next letter of the Aussie Animal Alphabet.

S is for Seahorse.

Did you know that Seahorses don’t have a stomach? They need to eat Lots of times a day, many more times than you or I. Imagine trying to eat 30-50 times a day to survive.

This funny looking crown wearing fish, looks like a mini, armour wearing horse.

The other half has a tiny curly tail, used to cling onto the sea plants, so it can capture prey as it passes by. You would get pretty tired if you had to chase your prey 30 times a day.

Truly one of it’s kind.

The next letter of the Aussie Alphabet is T. Who shall we see there?

Let’s find out….
