E is for Echidna

The fifth letter of the Aussie Alphabet is E.

E is for Echidna.

Looking like a giant pin cushion, the Echidna is very different from any other animal.

It has a long beak like nose, beady little eyes and spiny long quills that help it camouflage itself in the scrub.

Anthills are no obstacle for these spiny creatures. It will just use it’s long claws to tear it apart. Nothing comes between an Echidna, and it’s tasty breakfast.
