Australian Animals Alphabet

Z is for Zebra Lionfish

Here we are at the last letter of the Aussie Alphabet, Z.

Z is for Zebra Lionfish.

Dazzlingly beautiful, with it’s flashy, stripy fins, this Zebra Turkey Fish ( one of it’s many names, this being the weirdest ), is more of a look but don’t touch kind of fish.

Definitely not the cute and cuddly type, but neither is a lion.

You better be warned in any case, if it’s fins are on display. Those spikes are lethal.

We have come to the end of the Australian Alphabet.

There were 26 letters in the alphabet, and 26 Australian Animals that we looked at.

Can you remember them all? Which one was your favourite?
